(www.fabrik.com), announces the industry’s first 1TB portable external storage drive, the GRAID mini with RAID 0. Complete with the award winning features of its full-sized G-RAID solution shrunk into a portable system, it’s a screaming device for mobile content creation applications, traveling with large amounts of data, or for audio/video editing while on the road. G-RAID mini features a triple FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interface for universal connectivity to Mac and PC workstations and laptops. The G-RAID mini drives appears to any Mac or PC computer as a single, big and fast disk drive and is ready right out of the box for use with Mac OS X systems.

With the striping speed of RAID 0 combined with the fastest FireWire interface on the market, FireWire 800, the G-RAID mini easily supports simultaneous playback of multiple layers of video in Apple Final Cut Pro®, Adobe Premiere® and Avid Xpress Pro®. Marry this with the latest disk storage technology, the new Oxford 924 bridge chipset, and a quiet fan and heatsink, and users are guaranteed reliable operation and long life.
