New Portable RAID Features FireWire 400, FireWire 800 & USB 2.0

Amsterdam, Netherlands (IBC 2006) – September 8, 2006 − G-Technology,
Inc. (G-Tech) today unveiled its new G-RAID mini portable RAID storage solutions
featuring a triple interface (FireWire 400, FireWire 800 & USB 2.0) and the latest
generation 2.5” SATA ii hard disk drives. G-RAID mini is specifically designed to
support mobile multi-stream video editing applications on Mac and PC laptops.“With G-RAID mini we have taken the award winning features of our full-sized
G-RAID and shrunken them down in to a compact form factor ideal for content
creation professionals on the go,” said Roger Mabon, President of G-Tech. “G-RAID
mini weighs less than 1.2 lbs, is FireWire bus powered and features up to 320 GB of
high-performance RAID storage to support video editing in the studio or in the field.
