December 6, 2001 | Glyph Announces Senior Role for Founder Steve Gorney

Ithaca, NY - Glyph Technologies, the market leader providing innovative digital storage solutions for the content creation industry, today announced an evolution in the role of an industry veteran - it's founder, Steven Gorney. He will be leaving the daily operations behind, and will continue on in his position on Glyph's board of directors. Replacing Mr. Gorney as President is Alex Lieb, who has been the VP of Sales & Marketing for Glyph since April of 2001.

Mr. Gorney has served as the company's President/CEO since founding Glyph in 1993. As an entrepreneur and visionary, he foresaw the need for application-specific digital storage sub-systems for content creation. Pioneering what is now a thriving, competitive market niche, Mr. Gorney built Glyph as a company designed to address the specific needs of this marketplace by providing high quality, innovative and dependable products and services.

Alex Lieb brings a solid background in sales and marketing in the technology and content creation sectors to Glyph. Prior to Glyph he was with Mitsubishi of America, and a co-founder of Pathlight Technologies, Inc. Mr. Lieb has extensive experience in the video side of storage technologies, particularly with Storage Area Networks (SAN). In his new role he will focus on bringing new, high performance technologies to the content creation marketplace, positioning Glyph for long term growth.

In addition to Mr. Lieb's move, Larry Berger has been appointed VP of Marketing, and Paul Russo has been made Director of Operations.
