WildFire reliably performs digital audio extraction and "disc-at-once" writing. Glyph continues its tradition of providing A/V professionals innovative digital media solutions. WildFire, a high-speed CD-RW, records at 8x and completes a 650MB disc in less than 10 minutes. Content creators now have a cost-effective solution that is plug-and-play, hot-plug capable, and "Red-Book" audio compliant. WildFire saves the end-user time with FireWire features such as integrated serial bus protocol (SBP2) which uses standard device drivers included in the MS Windows and Apple Mac OS operating systems. WildFire offers an effective and powerful solution without the need for SCSI cards or special drivers. WildFire simplicity allows you to add or remove your tabletop drive without disrupting power to your computer and is designed to take advantage of onboard support. WildFire is available now with a MAP price of $499.00. It comes bundled with free media, required cables and Adaptec Toast with built-in FireWire support. WildFire can be purchased through authorized Glyph Dealers such as Sweetwater Sound, Sam Ash, Mars and Guitar Center. WildFire, like all Glyph products, is backed by Glyph's Herculean service and crushing technical support. It comes complete with a 1-year warranty. Typical service requests are accomplished in 48 hours. WildFire is a part of Glyph's FireWire product line designed especially for the needs A/V production. WildFire compliments Glyph's new FireWire edition of its X-Project™, designed to be the primary A/V storage companion to Digidesign's Digi 001 system. X-Project™ is a single-space hard drive storage unit available with single or dual hard drives in an enclosure that can be used as tabletop or rack-mounted.
