ATTO Technology Delivers an Affordable Solution for Connecting Existing SCSI Storage into iSCSI Networks
ATTO Technology Releases iPBridge™ 1500E/D, an iSCSI-to-SCSI bridge

AMHERST, NY - September 20, 2004 - ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader of storage connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments, announced today, the immediate availability of the affordable ATTO iPBridge™ 1500E/D iSCSI-to-SCSI bridge. Supporting Microsoft’s iSCSI software initiator, the IETF V1.0 iSCSI specification, and a host of third party hardware and software solutions, the iPBridge 1500 offers organizations a very affordable solution for networking existing SCSI storage devices into an Ethernet network. This affords IT Managers the ability to deploy cost-effective iSCSI storage networks.

Enabling storage centralization and consolidation at an extremely affordable price, the ATTO iPBridge 1500 lets users leverage their current Ethernet network, by providing the ability to attach existing SCSI storage to an Ethernet IP-based network. This allows departmental data centers and small-to-midsize businesses to maximize their ROI by utilizing existing storage resources as shared storage. By utilizing the ATTO iPBridge 1500E/D, small and medium businesses and Enterprise departmental users can:
